She may be nervous for the first few days, but, once she knows you’re her human, she’ll be your best friend. Matilda is looking for a home who's ready to welcome home a puppy and help build her confidence. Matilda is an active, medium-energy pup who has interacted very well with dogs and would do great with or without a canine sibling. She has interacted well with cats and would likely do well with or without a feline sibling. While she hasn’t had the pleasure of meeting kids yet, she’d do best with dog-savvy kids who can give her the time and space to meet on her own terms. Matilda is a total lap dog, and she'll happily follow you from room to room like your tiny, four-legged shadow. She is a smart gal, as she is fully crate-trained and house-trained. She uses her crate as her safe space and settles immediately during the day and at night. Matilda knows to go potty outside and does well when taken out regularly with a schedule and routine. As she gains more experience, she is learning her leash skills and will be a pro in no time with more practice.
