This sweet pup is still learning what it means to be safe and loved in a home, but one thing’s for sure—he’s so ready to find his person. Here’s the good and the “he’ll do better once someone’s there to show him the way”: Struggles with being alone – Checkers gets pretty vocal when he's by himself, but who can blame him? All he wants is someone to snuggle, love, and play with. Dog-friendly – He’s much quieter and happier when he has a dog friend around. Another playful pup in the home would be a huge plus! Cuddle bug alert – The second he sees you, he’s screaming (yes, screaming!) with joy, begging for you to come over so he can smother you with face kisses and love. Still learning – Checkers hasn’t had a lot of chances to learn the ropes of home life, but he’s eager to please and full of potential.
