She is the friendliest pup you’ll ever meet! She is the perfect mix of playful and sweet. This medium energy gal is ready to go on any adventure with you followed by quality cuddling time. She will fit into any home ready for a puppy. Topanga loves to run and play with her doggy friends and gets along well with dogs, especially any up for a good wrestle session. She is also great with kids and enjoys playing with them. Because she is a puppy and learning her manners, she would do best in a home with dog savvy kids. Topanga would not do well in a home with a cat. She is a big fan of balls, crinkly and chew toys. This affectionate snuggle bug loves anyone and everyone! This smart puppy is mostly house trained and does really well when put on a regular schedule. She is a boss with her crate training going in easily and settling right in. She is doing really well with her leash skills, and with continued practice and her intelligent and eager personality, she will be a pro in no time. She can be timid around very loud noises, but grows braver and more confident every day. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
