Dog Breed: Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 550. Hi I’m Astrid born around July 30th [ I came up to IL a few weeks ago as a litter of 7 and have been having a lot of fun in my foster’s home in our playpen, but now I am ready for my own forever family. I’ve done great with their dogs (10, 30, 80lbs) and kids (9 & 13). I use the potty pads in our area thus housetraining should be easier. We also have a crate we can go in to sleep at night. We aren’t big into puppy biting because toys are more fun. I will make a great addition to a family that understands Rescue is the best breed and I likely have some german shepherd, border colliee and great pyrenees in me so someone who understands that I need an active home who will provide lots of mental and physical stimulation is best. I’m told all the time how beautiful I am and how soft my fur is, but let me tell you a little bit about me. I really enjoy running around and pouncing on my toys. I can’t decide what is better, playing or being in someone's lap. I love belly rubs and will ask for one any chance I get. I am super affectionate and loyal looking for a family to call my own. The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
