Her Challenges Sammie is a sensitive, fearful girl. Loud noises, sudden movements, strangers, and other animals overwhelm her, and she reacts out of fear. She’s not suited for busy homes, dog parks, or crowded spaces. She also needs a secure, fenced yard—this girl is a runner when she’s scared. Because of this, Sammie must have: ✨ An experienced owner (fearful Dane experience strongly preferred) ✨ A quiet, calm household with no kids or other pets ✨ Someone home more than away to provide companionship and structure ✨ A commitment to ongoing training and rehabilitation with a professional The Sweet Side While Sammie has challenges, she also has so much love to give. She’s a classic Velcro Dane—leaning, pawing, cuddling, and following her humans everywhere. If you sit, she’s in your lap. If you move, she’s on your heels. She craves closeness and thrives on gentle affection. Her Playful Spirit Sammie is not your average couch potato Dane—she has energy to spare. She loves fetch, tug, and proudly prancing with her toys.
