He loves to play and has a medium energy level, but he is also affectionate and a cuddler. His ideal home would be with any family ready to give a puppy a loving home. Prince gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them in the yard. He has been fostered with a cat and coexisted happily. He is very gentle and did wonderfully with young kids. Prince is getting there with his house training and with a consistent schedule, he should perfect it in no time. He will go in his crate with a treat and he takes a few minutes to settle. He has not had much leash walking experience so he will need some more practice with this. Prince is a handsome cuddlebug who will make a great family pet! Is he the pup for you? Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
