April is a beautiful 2–3-year-old Lab/Hound mix weighing about 64 lbs — a perfect blend of sweetness, playfulness, and charm! This lovely girl has a calm, affectionate nature and is ready to find a family who will give her the love and attention she deserves. April is super sweet and easygoing. She sleeps soundly through the night, is both kennel and potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. She loves her toys (the more, the better!) and would be happiest in a home where she gets plenty of playtime and attention from her people. She does well with other dogs, especially older, more relaxed companions, and was good with kids at the shelter. While she hasn’t been around children in her foster home yet, her gentle temperament suggests she’d do fine with respectful, dog-savvy kids. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy and warmth to your home — along with a few squeaky toys — April might be the perfect match!
