Dog Breed: Chihuahua (short coat). **Ellie** Is a young Chihuahua puppy who will be ready to go home the last week of November. Ellie and her Siblings were found left in a crate in a local park near the rescue by 2 parkgoers, who brought them to us. Ellie is a very sweet, loving, playful puppy. She is seeking a home with people who understand this breed, how to manage their weight, and how to train and care for them. Ellie will do her best to have another small breed pup in the home who can mentor her and be her forever dog buddy. Ellie is tiny, and if there are children in the home, they must be over 10 and small-breed-savvy. **Adopting Ellie** To apply to adopt Ellie, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Ellie has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble, focusing instead on a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.
