Description
Dog Breed: French Bulldog. Coming soon- not yet available for adoption ( will be only available to those on the French bulldog waitlist) Hi, I’m NOVA! I’m a French Bulldog with a lot of sass and speed! I love food and the outdoors - I just love being outside. I just arrived in care and my foster family is still learning about me. So far, I am trying to make friends with my resident fur sibling (but he is a little jealous of my charm I think!) and I am house trained. I sleep all night in my crate and I love being around people. I am dealing with some medical issues right now and am not available for adoption yet, but once I'm ready I am excited to meet my new family!

Overview:
The French Bulldog, affectionately known as a "Frenchie," is a charming and compact companion breed originating from England, later popularized in France during the 19th century. Known for their distinctive "bat ears" and sturdy, muscular build, they possess a short, smooth coat that comes in various colors and patterns. Despite their somewhat serious expression, Frenchies boast an incredibly affectionate and playful temperament, making them excellent companions for individuals and families alike. Their relatively low exercise requirements and adaptability make them particularly well-suited for apartment living. However, prospective owners should be aware of their susceptibility to certain health considerations, including breathing difficulties due to their brachycephalic (short-nosed) structure, as well as spinal issues and skin allergies. With proper care and attention, a French Bulldog can bring years of joy and loving companionship.
