But don’t let her laid-back vibe fool you: Marjorie Mae is smart, curious, and always up for learning new tricks or playing around in the yard. Marjorie Mae gets along well with other dogs, though she prefers companionship over play. She’s independent and a bit indifferent when it comes to doggy games, choosing to observe rather than participate. She has been known to chase cats, so a feline friend who’s experienced with dogs would be best. She’s done well with 9-year-olds and would likely be fine with younger, dog-savvy kids who understand her mellow mood. This clever little cookie is already house-trained and has her own way of letting you know she needs to go out—by standing at your side and giving you a meaningful look (sometimes accompanied by a skip and a dance!).
