Chilly’s ideal home is with loving, consistent, confident dog owners who can help her continue to be the best version of herself. Chilly is a medium-energy gal who is great at fetch and tug and will leap high in the air when playing!She knows how to play by herself and keep herself entertained and knows when it’s time to chill out. Although she will happily play with anyone and everyone that wants to lavish attention on her, she also loves to snuggle and wants nothing more than to curl up like a donut on the couch next to her humans, Chilly is working on her leash manners (mainly pulling), but has been doing really well on structured walks and is easily redirected if she shes a squirrel she wants to go say hi to. She jumps a little bit (lightly though) which is why she is currently listed as best in a home with 'older children'. She has met young children on leash and loves to lick their sticky fingers. She can be rambunctious when playing so she could knock a small kid over while playing in the home. Chilly's favorite thing to do is show off how smart she is. She doesn't even need to be lured with a treat to show off all the commands she knows. Her current favorite is 'middle' because it allows her to be goofy and run through her human's legs. Chilly does a great job settling into her crate whether it be for overnight snoozles or while her humans are at workd during the day! She may be 7, but Chilly still has some puppy vibes and can’t wait to have a family to call her own. Chilly is a sweet girl just trying to figure it all out and can’t wait to meet the forever family who will help her thrive! *Chilly is part of our Medical Foster-to-Adopt Program for prescription food.
