Description
Dog Breed: French Bulldog (short coat). Welcome sweet Collette! A couple of weeks ago, we welcomed Collette into the rescue after she was released from a Lancaster puppy mill — no longer “useful” to them. This 4-year-old French Bulldog is now getting her very first taste of freedom, kindness, and love. Collette came to us shy and unsure, but she’s quickly learning that gentle hands and soft voices can be trusted. She’s starting to enjoy belly rubs, sunny spots in the yard, and the company of her two foster dog friends. She’s working on her housebreaking (something that takes a little extra time for our mill moms who were never taught where to go) and every day she grows a bit braver. Collette will be spayed in the coming weeks and then will be ready to find a forever family who will show her what unconditional love truly feels like.
