This pup's adoption fee is $850. If you are still interested, please read more below. Roy is his ARF name, but he answers to Oliver. He is young enough, you can pick whatever name you would like for this handsome fella! This pup loves to play hard, eat hardy, and sleep in between. He loves the outdoors and loves to run around outside. He would do great with a fenced yard and another dog to play with. He gets along with all dogs – big and small, and children of all ages. This smart boy is potty pad trained and walks on a leash. This cutie is sure to capture your heart! This pup is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and neutered. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL. The Pomeranian is a vivacious and charming toy breed, originating from the historic region of Pomerania, now part of Poland and Germany. Descended from larger Spitz-type dogs, they were miniaturized over generations, becoming beloved companions. Physically, they are recognizable by their luxurious double coat, often seen in striking shades like orange, cream, or black, and their distinctive foxy face with bright, alert eyes. Despite their small stature, Poms possess a bold and inquisitive temperament; they are intelligent, eager to please, and can be surprisingly independent. While generally good with older, respectful children, their delicate build makes them more suitable for families who understand their needs.
