Dog Breed: Dachshund / French Bulldog / Mixed. “The Happy Paws Litter” Names: Beau, Baxter, Brinlee, Oakley & Piper Age: 10 weeks Breed Guess: Dachshund / French Bulldog mixes Expected Adult Size: Small (under 20 lbs) These five spunky little survivors have already lived quite the adventure! They were originally dumped at a rural spay and neuter clinic by someone from a transient community. Their dad appeared to be a black and tan long-haired Dachshund, and their mom a gorgeous brindle French Bulldog mix. Neither was over 20 pounds, and their puppies are following in their tiny-but-mighty footsteps. When we first found them, we had to make the heartbreaking choice to leave three of them behind temporarily after our rescue trailer, Sparkles, was stolen. But thanks to an incredible wave of community love and support, we were able to go back and scoop them up! Now thriving in their foster home, these spunky pups are full of love, personality, and playful energy. Beau & Baxter – The adventurous brothers, always up for exploring and tumbling around together. Brinlee, Oakley & Piper – The sassy sisters with hearts of gold, each one full of character and charm. While we don’t want anyone to miss out on these precious early puppy weeks, we also want to ensure each pup receives the full vetting and care we provide. The Happy Paws litter is still too young for their spay/neuter procedures and full set of puppy vaccinations. Therefore, they will need to remain nearby for scheduled veterinary appointments and adopters must be able to coordinate with us to ensure the puppies attend all required visits. For that reason, adopters must be willing to work with us to get them to all scheduled vet visits, and we are currently only accepting applications from the Claremore, Owasso, and Tulsa areas.<br /> <br /> Okie Pet Rescue <br /> okiepetrescuegmail okiepetrescue <br /> An application must be completed and approved after a comprehensive review.
