Dog Breed: Border Collie / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Muriel (A138978) is a 1-year-old border collie x lab mix who weighed nearly 30 lbs at intake and could stand to gain a little weight! 11/08/25 Muriel was surrendered to the shelter with her father Lucifer due to housing issues. Muriel is a shy girl who was said to be friendly and affectionate when she warms up! Muriel has been known to play roughly, and she can be vocal and likes to chew. She needs a little help with her manners, and enrolling her in a basic obedience class with a certified trainer would be a great place to start! She was said to get along with other dogs and cats, but she does not do well with smaller animals. Muriel was said to love children, but she is not a fan of babies. She was said to be kennel trained, but she needs some help with her potty training. She has been taught to use puppy pads in the past.
