Dog Breed: Dachshund / Mixed. This is Zeri, a 1-year-old, 17-pound Dachshund mix. Zeri came into rescue because her family moved and left her alone in the yard to fend for herself. What? You read it right. Her family left her behind when they moved. Oh, my goodness! Well, Zeri is with us now, and we watch as she happily plays with other dogs. She gets along with her foster's cat, too. This is a fine little girl who deserves the kind of furever family that won't drive off leaving her behind in a cloud of dust. Don't you agree? (posted 11/15/25, TN) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **
