A typical puppy, she has bursts of energy and balances them out with wanting to snuggle at your side. Justine is looking for a home that’s ready for all things puppy, where she can grow into a loving and loyal companion. Justine loves other dogs and is excited to meet them. She plays well (with the expected puppy energy!) and also reads social cues well for such a young girl. Justine hasn’t met cats yet but would likely do well with them—she is inquisitive and still developing her confidence, so she would probably let cats make the rules. She enjoys meeting new people and will approach to say hello, taking a minute to investigate a new person before rolling over for a belly rub. Justine has lived with older kids and met lots of neighborhood kids on walks, and she quickly warms up and wants to play with all of them. She would likely do well with kids of any age with appropriate introductions and boundaries. Justine would love a resident dog to play with, but if she doesn’t have a canine buddy available she’ll keep herself entertained by chewing a bone or chasing a ball around. Justine has been working very hard on her puppy training and is doing exceptionally well for her age. She almost never has accidents in the house as long as she can maintain a consistent schedule of potty breaks. Justine is crated for periods during the day and consistently overnight and is learning to settle in immediately and keep herself entertained with a favorite toy. She walks well on her leash and has a blast going on walks to explore the neighborhood and meet new friends. Justine is a smart girl and a fast learner who enjoys mastering new skills with the support and love of her humans. Justine is gaining confidence and personality by the day.
