Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). MEET DAKOTA!!! Dakota is a sweet and loving girl who is eager to give lots of kisses. Dakota always has a smile on her face, with a wagging tail. When she's not being affectionate, Dakota loves a good lay on the couch or her dog bed. She loves to go on walks and is great in the car, often laying down in the back. Dakota loves to coddle stuffies or a good ball. She gets along great with other dogs, and she has not yet been around cats. She does well with children of all sized, but be mindful she gives lots of kisses! She is working on not digging in the yard and her excitement at mealtime. Dakota is overall a great dog and would love to meet you! A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
