Description
Dog Breed: French Bulldog. ***APPLICATIONS CLOSED 10 DECEMBER*** Hi, I'm Luna! I had a loving family start to my life but found myself looking for a new forever family when mine had to leave the country. I love snuggling up for cuddles, really, any contact with you makes me super-happy, but belly rubs are my outa-this-world favourite thing. I have my energetic moments too. I love playing and hiking, but squirrels? Well, they're a bit too exciting for me. I've been working on it though. Foster mom says I'm quite the smarty-paw. I'm house and crate trained, sit on command and I'm always ready to learn more. If you've got a treat in your hand, I'll do whatever you want me to. I don't live with any kids, but the right ones could become my new BFF. I like other dogs but prefer them not to be too in my face, more a companion to run and go on sniffaris with. My energy will keep us both fit. If you're looking for a loving companion to share in all your adventures, I'm your girl. I'm down for anything, so long as it's with you. *located in Everett

Overview:
The French Bulldog, affectionately known as a "Frenchie," is a charming and compact companion breed originating from England, later popularized in France during the 19th century. Known for their distinctive "bat ears" and sturdy, muscular build, they possess a short, smooth coat that comes in various colors and patterns. Despite their somewhat serious expression, Frenchies boast an incredibly affectionate and playful temperament, making them excellent companions for individuals and families alike. Their relatively low exercise requirements and adaptability make them particularly well-suited for apartment living. However, prospective owners should be aware of their susceptibility to certain health considerations, including breathing difficulties due to their brachycephalic (short-nosed) structure, as well as spinal issues and skin allergies. With proper care and attention, a French Bulldog can bring years of joy and loving companionship.
