Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). ***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at .emmetcountyanimalshelter*** This sweet older gentleman is Steeler. He found himself in a kill shelter with 2 other dogs that he had lived with after their owner had been incarcerated. The shelter was asking for assistance in moving dogs out and everyone had been chosen except for Steeler. Seeing this older guy in a shelter for so many months and then facing euthanasia because there's just not enough homes and too many dogs just hurt our hearts. So Steeler had the journey into our foster care and now he is hoping for the journey to end with an adoption into a home of his very own. He is a sweet gentle boy that would love to go on a walk, take a nap or watch a movie with you. He can hang out with other dogs but he's also good just chillin on his own. Steeler is a little too excited around the felines so a home with out cats is ideal. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.00 and he would love nothing more than to hang out with you.
