Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed. RAYA BIO 11 months 56 lbs Anatolian Shepherd & Great Pyrenees mix spayed, utd on vaccines, Good with dogs and kids. Neutral with cats but need more assessment. BIO- This sweet, beautiful and funny girl is still a pup! She is FANTASTIC. So easy going and fun. She is very loyal to humans and wants to belong. She listens. She goes with the flow and is ready to go on adventures or just chill with you on the couch if that is what you want to do. She loves treats and yummy food. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. She walks easy on leash. RAYA did have puppies at 9 months old. She was surrendered to us with her puppies by a senior citizen who had her as a puppy and could not longer care for her. She was the sweetest most loving dog mom to them. They all got adopted at 10 weeks old. We want RAYA to be seen and loved and appreciated for the wonderful dog that she is. PLEASE ask us to meet her or for an application. RAYA is in the Los Angeles area. A home visit and interview are required prior to adoption.

More About Anatolian Pyrenees BreedOverview:
The Anatolian Pyrenees is a large guardian hybrid created by crossing the Anatolian Shepherd of Turkey with the Great Pyrenees from the Pyrenees mountains. Known for their impressive size, often weighing between 80–140 pounds, they carry a thick double coat that provides protection in colder climates. Their temperament blends loyalty, independence, and gentleness, making them devoted family companions while retaining strong protective instincts. Although affectionate with children and calm indoors, their guarding nature and need for space make them better suited to rural or suburban homes rather than apartment living. With proper socialization, they coexist well with other pets, but consistent training is essential due to their intelligence and stubborn streak. Common health considerations include hip dysplasia, joint strain, and bloat, typical of giant breeds. Overall, the Anatolian Pyrenees is a gentle yet vigilant dog, ideal for families seeking a devoted protector.
