Description
Dog Breed: Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Fern came to the shelter as a stray on 10/25/25 and is a gentle, social, people-focused dog. She leashes easily with minimal pull, appears housebroken, and is non-reactive to other dogs. Fern loves attention, climbing into laps for pets and kisses, and is calm, low-key, and affectionate. In playgroup, she offers appropriate greetings, is steerable, and mostly does her own thing, with only minor early assertiveness that hasnât persisted. She knows âsit,â gives paw without being asked, and takes treats gently. Fern has participated in pack walks, handling other dogs, children, wildlife, and unfamiliar adults calmly. Medically, Fern had a mammary mass removed that was cancerous, but future growth is uncommon. Fern would thrive in a loving home where she can enjoy gentle affection, calm surroundings, and plenty of quality time with her people.
