Description
Dog Breed: Pomeranian / Miniature Pinscher / Mixed (medium coat). This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Alex is a little bundle of joy who bounces into every room with a wiggly wagging bob tail, erect ears and a big smile! This 11-month-old Pomeranian / Miniature Pinscher mix weighs 12 pounds and has the perfect mix of playful sweetness and friendly enthusiasm. Alex loves people and runs right up to greet everyone, strangers included. He knows Sit and understands words like Outside and Treat. He does great going potty outside or on a pee pad, so he's well on his way to being fully housetrained. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night, though when morning comes, he will let you know he is ready to start the day with some excited barking. This cheerful pup enjoys chew toys, fetch, romping with other dogs, gentle play with cats, and relaxing on the couch next to his favorite humans. He is patient and kind with kittens that he's fostered with and loves belly rubs, treats, and affection. He walks well on a leash and rides in the car, though car trips make him anxious and he may cry a bit. Alex gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, kids, and new people, and would do well in almost any home that can offer regular walks, playtime, and continued basic training. If you think Alex might be the perfect addition to your family, apply to adopt today, won't you? Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, Jan 3rd from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Pineranian is a charming and spirited designer breed, a delightful cross between the energetic Miniature Pinscher and the fluffy, vivacious Pomeranian. Originating from the desire to combine the best traits of both parents, these small companions typically inherit a sturdy yet delicate build, weighing generally between 5 to 10 pounds. Their coats can vary, ranging from the Miniature Pinscher's short, sleek fur to the Pomeranian's longer, dense double coat, often showcasing a vibrant array of colors. Temperamentally, Pineranians are known for being playful, intelligent, and affectionate, though they can also exhibit a lively, sometimes opinionated, personality inherited from both sides. Their compact size makes them highly adaptable to apartment living, and with proper socialization, they can make wonderful companions for families, including those with older children. As with many small breeds, potential health considerations include patellar luxation, dental issues, and sometimes tracheal collapse, so regular veterinary check-ups are essential for a long, happy life.
