Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Miniature Pinscher / Mixed. Available for Adoption! Meet Mochi, an absolute sweetheart looking for her forever home. Her mother sadly passed away, leaving behind six dogs the family could not keep. Understandably, Mochi was scared, confused, and depressed at first, but with time to decompress she has blossomed beautifully. Mochi grows more confident every day. She is a quiet, obedient, and loving girl with a cute personality that is really starting to shine. She thrives on routine, is well-mannered, well-behaved, and truly just a perfect little companion. She may be timid at first and might need a few days to show her true self, but with a little patience, she will undoubtedly become a wonderful addition to the right family. She is crate trained, potty trained, good with kids, cats and all dogs. Mochi has had a vet visit, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), deworming, and a fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments. We operate on a first come first serve basis. Private message if interested!

Breed overview
Overview:
The Chipin, a lively cross between the Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher, originated in the United States as a designer breed. These small yet sturdy dogs typically weigh between 5-10 pounds, boasting a short, smooth coat that comes in various colors like black, tan, chocolate, and fawn. Physically, they often inherit the Chihuahua’s apple-shaped head or the Miniature Pinscher’s sleek build, with expressive eyes and alert ears. Temperamentally, Chipins are known for being affectionate, energetic, and surprisingly courageous, often displaying a "big dog" personality in a small package. They can be excellent companions for individuals or families with older children, and their compact size makes them highly suitable for apartment living, provided they receive adequate exercise. While generally healthy, potential health concerns include patellar luxation, dental issues, and heart conditions, inherited from their parent breeds. Early socialization and consistent training are crucial for a well-adjusted Chipin.
