Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Steele! He’s a stunning 4 month old, 22 lb Pittie mix. He is currently all puppy. He loves toys, running around the backyard, and playing with the other resident dogs of all sizes. He was curious when introduced to the cats but they didn’t bother him one way or another. Potty training is going great. He’s using potty pads and learning to go outside. He’s doing great on leash training, knows “sit”, and is working on a few other commands. He’s a smart, fast learner and is treat motivated. Steele is crate trained and sleeps all night in there. He loves everyone, including kids. This handsome guy is ready to find his lucky forever family and continue his puppy training to be the best good boy. Steele is neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and ready to meet you. His adoption donation is $425. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
