Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. Say Hello to Gilligan! Gilligan is an energetic, sweet, happy-go-lucky pup learning the joys of being a dog. He came to us as a relinquishment simply because puppy life was more work than expected. Like all puppies, he’s a work in progress—but also incredibly rewarding for the right family. Gilligan is crate trained and still working on potty training. He’s doing very well with listening and learning through training and gains more confidence each day with both people and other dogs. He’s great with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend, though it’s not required as long as he has a family committed to playing with him and giving him plenty of exercise. This affectionate boy absolutely adores his person and will happily follow them from room to room. He loves playing ball, fetch, and engaging with toys of all kinds, and he enjoys going for walks. Gilligan can be a bit nervous around loud sounds, so a patient, understanding home that can help build his confidence will be important. Gilligan would do best with an active family who understands that puppies take time, consistency, and effort—but that the payoff is huge. With continued training, exercise, and love, Gilligan will grow into a loyal, fun-loving companion.
