MAGGIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Maggie Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of January 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 46 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Check out this video of Maggie: youtube/shorts/GyeRyvDH2q4. Maggie is Looking For: She's a young girl looking forward to sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed would be great too, but you know what she wants most of all? To be safe and loved, to know where she belongs. Is that by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: She is the most gentle, sweet, velvet couch seal! She conked out in the car in five minutes, giving one of her delicious deep sighs of relaxation. She was very polite coming in the house, making sure she was welcome to be there. Some things may be new, like stairs, but she made it on her own after a few tries- she just needs to take things at her own pace, nice and slow and full of your cheers and treats. She completely blossomed in just one day and what she wants most is you! Putting her forehead right into your chest, snuggling at your hip on the couch, tucking her head under your chin. She takes treats gently, gives little kisses, does all of her business outside, loose leash walker, slept through the night in the crate, keeps her chill energy all day, and is the most polite house guest. You couldn’t ask for a more polite pup - even her little snores are gentle! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
