Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Great Pyrenees / Mixed. Cannonball is an absolute joy to have around and such a well-rounded young pup. He’s fully crate trained and happily sleeps through the night for about 12 hours, only letting you know when he’s ready to start the day. He’s also doing fantastic with potty training and hasn’t had a single accident in the house. This sweet boy is a total cuddle bug who loves curling up in your lap and soaking up all the affection he can get. He already knows basic commands like sit and stay, with more training underway. Cannonball is eager to learn and very responsive, making him a pleasure to work with. He also has a fun, playful side and plenty of puppy energy. Cannonball loves toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is learning good boundaries and when playtime is over — something he’s improving at every day. With his loving personality, trainability, and happy spirit, Cannonball is ready to be an amazing addition to a lucky home. Cannonball was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. Breed overview
Overview:
Labrenees or Pyrador is the mix of one large-sized dog; the Great Pyrenees and one medium-sized dog; Labrador Retriever. As a hybrid, it has better quality than its parent breeds as the traits and characteristics are mixed. These are very large dogs that are typically more cooperative and trainable than the Great Pyrenees, but more discriminating and naturally protective than the Labrador Retriever.
