Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Hound / Mixed. Meet Winn-Dixie Winn-Dixie is a beautiful Aussie/Spaniel mix, approximately 1 year old and around 58 lbs, who was found as a stray off Summit Ridge Drive in Rockwall on 01/22/26. Now safe at Rockwall Adoption Center, she's ready to find a loving forever home. This sweet girl has a gentle, docile personality and is still building confidence, especially when it comes to walking on a leash. With patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, she will continue to blossom and gain confidence in new environments. Winn-Dixie appears to be kind-natured and affectionate, and would thrive in a home willing to help her learn and grow. She has shown interest in other dogs, so if you have a dog at home, a meet and greet is strongly recommended prior to adoption to ensure a good match. At this time, we do not yet have information on how she does with children or cats. Winn-Dixie's adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, boosters to date, and heartworm test. Her spay is scheduled for Wed. 01/26/26. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
