Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. Mowgli is a 3-year-old Chihuahua with a huge heart and an even bigger love for his people. He’s a world-class cuddler who truly thrives being close—whether that’s curling up right next to you or trotting along happily on a walk. He’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and enjoys getting out to explore the neighborhood on leash. While this little guy is incredibly affectionate and sweet, Mowgli does best with structure and clear boundaries. He needs a confident, consistent adopter who will help him understand that he doesn’t need to be in charge of the household. With rules in place, he has made great progress and is continuing to improve with his confidence and manners. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small children. Mowgli gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with other furry friends who can help reinforce appropriate behavior and provide companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion and are comfortable providing guidance and leadership, Mowgli has so much love to give and is ready to be an incredible best friend.
