Dog Breed: Poodle (unknown type) / Shih Tzu / Mixed (medium coat). I'm 10 lbs., and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $550 Meet Fred! This very handsome Poodle/Shih Tzu mix is on the search for his forever home—and he’s ready to charm his way right in. Fred loves car rides (even the ones that end at the vet… yep, he’s that brave), and vet visits are no big deal for this good boy. Fred is sweet, affectionate, and eager to please. He’s already completed two weeks of training and did great, proudly showing off his “sit” and “stay.” He’s very food-motivated, which makes learning new tricks extra fun. One of his cutest talents? When he needs to go outside, he’ll gently tap his person’s leg with his paw to let them know. Talk about politeness! Fred would do best in a quieter home, as he can be protective of his people and feels most comfortable in a calm environment where he can relax and bond with his family. He’s hoping to find a loving home where he can keep learning, sharing cuddles, and showing off just how adorable he truly is. Could he be the perfect match for your family? All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
