Description
Dog Breed: French Bulldog / Pug / Mixed. Hey everyone guess what!!! It's finally time for me to look for my furever peeps! I've received all my vetting and have gotten pretty comfortable here at my foster home. I've made friends with the resident doggos and they seem pretty chill, most days we rotate through the sunny spots. A little about me, so I'm 4 years old and love to snuggle while you have your morning coffee. When I have my chew bone I wiggle with so much excitement. I'm a typical snorty, grumbly Frenchie but with the most adorable floppy ears. Admit it you love my ears right? So if you're looking for a sweet little angel like myself contact my people! *located in Lindsay **will lunge on leash at unknown dogs but quickly makes friends, especially with smaller dogs **allergic to turkey

Breed overview
Overview:
The Frenchie Pug is an endearing crossbreed, a delightful blend of the French Bulldog and the Pug, originating from the designer dog trend of the last few decades. This charming hybrid typically boasts a compact, muscular build with a short, smooth coat that comes in various colors, often inheriting the characteristic flat face and wrinkled features from both parents. Temperament-wise, they are generally affectionate, playful, and incredibly loyal, making them excellent companions. Their relatively low exercise needs and adaptable nature make them well-suited for apartment living and families, even those with children, as they thrive on human interaction. However, potential owners should be aware of health considerations common to brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, such as potential respiratory issues and susceptibility to heatstroke. Regular veterinary check-ups and a mindful approach to exercise in warm weather are crucial for their well-being.
