Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed (short coat). My Home to Yours – Meet Max Max is a sweet, loyal senior boy who’s looking for a new place to call home through our My Home to Yours program. At approximately 8–10 years old, Max is a neutered male, short-haired dog with white and brown markings and the kindest brown eyes. He’s house-trained, up to date on vaccinations, and has spent his life as a loved indoor companion. Max enjoys being outside, soaking up fresh air, and keeping an eye on the world around him. Max does have some age-related conditions, including cataracts and arthritis, but he remains gentle, affectionate, and deeply bonded to his people. Around new situations, he may bark and then retreat to observe from a distance — he prefers to watch first before fully engaging. When left alone, he eagerly waits for his person to return, a true sign of his loyalty. He would do best in an active home with a yard, where he can enjoy his golden years with comfort, patience, and love. Max is being rehomed due to a change in family circumstances, not through any fault of his own. My Home to Yours Program Max will remain in his current home until adoption. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
