The shelter environment has been overwhelming for her, but underneath that nervous exterior is a gentle little dog who just wants to feel safe. She bonds closely with her person and will thrive in a quiet, patient home that understands shy dogs. Once she trusts you, she is sweet, loyal, and happiest curled up beside you. Because of her sensitive nature, she is looking for an adult-only home or one with older, respectful teens. She would not do well with small children or a busy household. If you have a calm home and the heart to help a timid dog blossom, she will reward you with quiet companionship and devoted love.
