Description
Dog Breed: Pomeranian (long coat). Adoption Fee: $200.00 I’m Tinkerbell, a happy little fairy who LOVES people, attention, and telling everyone all about my fairy adventures. I’m fearless—no spooky shadows here! In fact, I’ll happily be *your* personal shadow, supervising things like dropped hairbrushes and dishwasher loading. I love my fairy house (crate) filled with my stuffies, cozy bed, and blankets. I do best eating dinner in my crate, and my foster mom says I should stay in a sit position until my bowl is almost placed on the ground… I just get SO excited when it’s mealtime. I will benefit from consistency and guidance. Of note, cause I’m a princess, I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. If you *do* have a dog, he/she must be bigger than me and I will require firm boundaries to keep my fairy tush in line. I also like to visit the salon on a regular basis to keep my beautiful coat looking its best! ✅ Very well potty trained ✅ Not much of a chewer ✅ Loves attention & cuddles ✅ Happy, social, and sweet New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form. Overview:
The Pomeranian is a vivacious and charming toy breed, originating from the historic region of Pomerania, now part of Poland and Germany. Descended from larger Spitz-type dogs, they were miniaturized over generations, becoming beloved companions. Physically, they are recognizable by their luxurious double coat, often seen in striking shades like orange, cream, or black, and their distinctive foxy face with bright, alert eyes. Despite their small stature, Poms possess a bold and inquisitive temperament; they are intelligent, eager to please, and can be surprisingly independent. They adapt well to apartment living due to their size, though they still benefit from regular walks and mental stimulation. While generally good with older, respectful children, their delicate build makes them more suitable for families who understand their needs. Regarding health, Poms can be prone to patellar luxation, tracheal collapse, and dental issues, emphasizing the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary care to ensure a long, happy life.
