Meet Champ – A Big Heart Looking for His Person Champ is a 2-year-old, 71 lb Anatolian Shepherd mix who has been waiting for his forever home for 361 days as of 03/27/26. As one of our Diamond Dogs, his adoption fee is just $75—but the loyalty and devotion he offers are truly priceless. Champ is incredibly people-focused and forms a deep bond with his person. He walks beautifully on a leash, is intelligent and eager to learn, and thrives with structure, routine, and consistent leadership. He would do best in a home with older children or adults who are comfortable with a large dog, no cats or small animals, and a securely fenced yard (minimum 6–8 ft, no chain link). Champ may do well with a submissive female dog or as the only pet. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative as of 03/27/26. Champ isn't just looking for a home—he's looking for his person, and in the right environment, he will be an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion.
