Description
Dog Breed: Pug (short coat). A5754851 Meet Bruno, our 2-year-old Pug mix and the most charmingly curious little guy around! He looks like the perfect blend of Pug and Frenchie, with a precious smooshed face, big beautiful eyes, and a collection of kissable wrinkles framing a perfectly boopable snoot. No curly tail here - just a straight little nubbin that swishes with excitement when he’s happy (which is often!). Bruno is super friendly and endlessly curious, always ready to check out the world around him. You might catch him pouting in his kennel, but bring out a squeaky toy and watch him absolutely come to life - this darling boy loves to roll around and chase balls with pure joy. Come scoop up this sweet, playful nugget and let the fun begin! -2 years old, neutered male, 29 lbs -White Pug -Found as a stray on 02/08/2026 -Microchipped -Happy, playful, and affectionate -Adorable smile and classic Pug personality -Ready to be loved and spoiled BRUNO’S VIDEO: youtube/shorts/9zW For more information, contact volunteer Lor at lorunitedhopeforanimals Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/ Use their unique ID NUMBER. Overview:
The Pug, a charming and ancient breed, boasts a fascinating history believed to originate in China as early as 206 BC. Known for its distinctive flat, wrinkled face, large, expressive eyes, and tightly curled tail, the Pug's compact, muscular build is instantly recognizable. Despite their somewhat serious expression, Pugs are famously friendly, playful, and affectionate companions, often described as "clowns" due to their comedic antics. Their relatively low exercise requirements and adaptability make them excellent pets for apartment dwellers and devoted family members, thriving on human companionship. However, prospective owners should be aware of certain health considerations, primarily their susceptibility to respiratory issues due to their brachycephalic (short-nosed) structure, as well as potential eye problems and joint conditions. With proper care and attention, the Pug offers years of unwavering loyalty and delightful companionship.
