Dog Breed: Dachshund / Mixed. Francesca Bridgerton is a young dachshund mix ready to leave her past behind and start a beautiful new chapter. She came to rescue alongside 29 of her housemates, and now she’s discovering what it means to be a loved, cherished pup. Francesca is still learning all the “how to be a dog” basics and is making great progress. She’s crate trained and currently working on her potty training with the help of her foster family. She’s a smart girl who is eager to learn and thrives with gentle guidance and consistency. She has a sweet, playful, and curious personality, and she absolutely loves the company of other dogs. In fact, Francesca would do best in a home with another dog to help show her the ropes and be her playmate. When her foster siblings correct her, she takes it well and continues learning—such a good girl! Francesca’s favorite things include playing fetch, carrying around soft toys, and enjoying tasty treats. She would thrive in an active home that can provide continued training, plenty of playtime, and lots of love. A fenced yard where she can run and play would be ideal, especially since she loves a good game of fetch. If she ends up as an only dog, she would still do well as long as she has regular opportunities to socialize and play with other canine friends. Francesca is smart, loving, and full of playful energy. With a patient and dedicated family, she’s going to blossom into an amazing companion.
