Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Meet Shiloh If you’ve been searching for a gentle giant with a soft soul and a goofy streak, Shiloh might just be your guy. At just 1 year and 7 months old, he’s still figuring out the world—and it’s honestly the sweetest thing to watch. Shiloh’s story started in a heartbreaking way—he was found at a dumping ground in Texas, severely emaciated and trying to survive by eating trash. But despite everything he’s been through, he is nothing but love. Today, Shiloh is a calm, gentle boy who gets along well with other dogs and is slowly learning how to play like a pro. He’s still building up his stamina, so after a little fun, he’s ready for a nap (preferably somewhere cozy… like you). Speaking of cozy—Shiloh is a certified learner. He will happily melt into you for affection and would absolutely love to be a lap dog… despite his size. And if your toes happen to be nearby, don’t be surprised if he gives them a little curious nibble When he first arrived, toys were a bit suspicious (understandably), but now he’s discovered they’re actually amazing and enjoys chewing on anything he can get his paws on. Watching him experience these “firsts” is really special. He’s also a rockstar in his crate—he goes in on his own, settles easily, and naps throughout the day like a champ. Shiloh does have a bit of a playful chase instinct when it comes to cats, squirrels, and chickens. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each of our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
