On the lower side of the puppy energy spectrum, he likes to play, but would prefer to quietly curl up with a doggy sibling or one of his favorite humans. Egret is looking for a home where his mellower energy and sweet personality will be cherished. Egret loves other dogs and wants to play with every one he meets. He would love to have a canine sibling to hang out with and look up to. Egret enjoys meeting new people, and will either run right up to say hello or take a moment to observe his new friend before he approaches. He has spent time with older kids and did wonderfully with them. While Egret hasn’t met cats, he would likely do well with them with proper introductions. He loves his squeaky toys and stuffies, and will happily keep himself busy playing with a favorite toy when he needs some quiet time. Egret loves his crate and will happily hang out in it with his pile of cozy blankets and toys. He’s crated consistently during the day and overnight, and he will spend time in his crate with the door open. Egret is also house trained, though like any puppy he does best on a consistent schedule and may have the occasional accident as he adapts to a new situation. He hasn’t had a ton of leash experience, but this smart boy thrives on individual training attention and will work hard to please his humans. Egret looks forward to perfecting his leash skills in his new home and earning praise and affection for his efforts. Egret is a calm and special boy who can’t wait to be the apple of someone’s eye.
