Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / French Bulldog / Mixed. Xena (NY) is a female pit bull terrier mix rescued in New York. Our veterinary partner estimated that Xena was three years old at the time of her rescue in March 2026. Xena is great in the car, great with other dogs and friendly to everyone she meets. She is very affectionate, often glued to her foster's leg. She's incredibly smart. She figured out how to remove her foster's new (and unpopular) Velcro boots from her feet very quickly. She also loves comfy spaces. When her foster put down her new bed, she was at first hesitant but after trying it has been a pure ball of joy in it.
