Dog Breed: Silky Terrier / Mixed. Dunkin’s past is unknown. He was found as a stray, but you’d never guess it from his big personality and even bigger heart. This confident, medium-to-high energy boy is full of life, love, and loyalty. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just want to be near his people—he wants to be on them, soaking up every bit of affection he can get! Dunkin is happiest when he’s spending time with his humans, whether that’s going for walks, getting pets, or snuggling up close. He also enjoys playtime with other dogs and, of course, mealtime is always a highlight in his day. Dunkin does have a couple quirks that his future family should be aware of. He can be a bit protective of his toys, and he experiences some separation anxiety, so he’ll thrive in a home that can give him plenty of time, structure, and attention. A fenced yard would be a big plus, or an active family committed to giving him lots of walks and exercise. Because of his energy level and sensitivities, Dunkin would likely do best in a home without small children.
