Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Mixed (long coat). Aussie female Welcome Genevieve from City of Selma Animal Services. She is a 1-2 year old, 39lb Velcro Aussie mix who was brought in as a stray. She did present at the shelter non-weight bearing on her right front leg. Radiographs show no break, so likely a soft tissue injury that will resolve with crate rest and anti-inflammatories. Luckily, Genevieve is bunked up with our all-star foster who just so happens to be a vet, so she’s in good healing hands. Her foster has this to say: ” She has been really good in the house. Gets along well with my house crew. She is pretty chill, just wants to be with you at all times.” This Merle Princess won’t be here long. Cats, critters, livestock unknown at this time.
