Raphael likes to meet new people slowly, though his affection can be bought with treats. He would likely do well with older, dog-savvy kids. Raphael is unconcerned with cats, which the cats he’s met have appreciated. He is wonderful with other dogs and would love to have a confident canine sibling to look up to. Raphael is crated during the day and overnight and settles in with no trouble, especially if he gets a treat as a reward. He is house trained and doesn’t have any accidents when he has a consistent schedule of potty breaks.
