Rambo is a handsome 2-year-old Lab mix weighing about 47 pounds, and he’s looking for an active, committed family ready to make him part of their everyday life. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be your best friend, adventure partner, and couch companion all in one. This sweet boy is friendly, affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs. While a canine playmate would likely make him very happy, it’s not required. A fenced yard is preferred, as Rambo enjoys being active and having space to stretch his legs. Like many young dogs, Rambo is still working on his manners when left alone. If he gets bored, he may “borrow” shoes or move items from the ottoman or couch, sometimes gnawing on shoelaces. This is easily managed with supervision, continued training, and keeping plenty of toys and chew bones available. He does well when people are home and has been left alone successfully, but this is something a new family should be mindful of as he continues learning. Rambo would thrive in a home that’s active, patient, and committed to helping him grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be.
