Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Meet Lilah Lilah is an approximately 9-month-old female Great Pyrenees/Lab mix who is now available for adoption after not being reclaimed. Found running loose on H Wallace Lane on 04/28/26, Lilah is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give her the stability and love she deserves. Lilah is a sweet, sociable young dog who enjoys being around people and has already shown that she has a friendly, approachable personality. She appears comfortable on a leash and seems to have some basic handling experience, making her a great candidate for continued training and guidance as she grows. We are still getting to know Lilah, including how she interacts with other dogs. Because of this, a meet and greet is encouraged for any home with existing dogs to ensure a good fit. Lilah's spay is scheduled for Wednesday, 05/06/26, and is non-negotiable as part of her adoption. Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, age-appropriate boosters and heartworm test. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.

As a hybrid, it has better quality than its parent breeds as the traits and characteristics are mixed. These are very large dogs that are typically more cooperative and trainable than the Great Pyrenees, but more discriminating and naturally protective than the Labrador Retriever.
