Name: Tilly Best Guess for Breed: Cocker spaniel mix Best Guess for Age: 8 months as of April 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 15 lbs as of 4/28/26; she still has a bit more to grow Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter- needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Tilly is Looking For: Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own, not even a year old. She says nah scratch that chapter - it's firmly closed. She's looking for humans who are eager to have her by their side on sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And snuggles - lots of snuggles. And she'd like to go to dog school, too, so she can learn to be the bestest and bravest puppers! Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved.
