Dog Breed: Beagle / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). Don’t tell Henry he’s a senior. He didn’t get that memo. This sweet boy doesn’t pull on his leash, but he does walk with pep and a tail that never stops wagging. No dilly-dallying here — just joyful, purposeful strolls with your new best friend. He is housetrained, and great with the cats and dogs in his foster home. PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.

While generally healthy, potential owners should be aware of health concerns prevalent in their parent breeds, such as back issues (intervertebral disc disease) from the Dachshund side and epilepsy or ear infections from the Beagle.
