Dog Breed: Maltese / Poodle (Toy) / Mixed (medium coat). Hope Rescues is all volunteer, all visits must be scheduled you may do that by filling out an online application as that is needed for a visit. You can find an application our website. Our adoption fee is $275.00 which includes Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, current heart worm test, DHPP booster, Bordetella vaccine, Microchip, Worming. Dahlia Est DOB 4/22/2022 Female Poodle / Shih Tzu Mix Dahlia — A Gentle Soul Learning to Bloom Meet Dahlia, a beautiful 2‑year‑old Havanese/Poodle mix weighing about 10–12 lbs. She was rescued from a commercial breeder, so the world is still a very big, very unfamiliar place to her. Dahlia is shy and easily overwhelmed, but beneath that fear is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who wants to trust. Even when she’s scared, Dahlia has never tried to bite. She’ll let you pick her up, hold her close, and reassure her that she’s safe. With patience, kindness, and a predictable routine, she will continue to blossom. Dahlia would do best in a calm home with another friendly dog who can help her learn that life isn’t so scary after all. She’s great with other dogs, and while we’re not sure about cats, her soft temperament suggests she may adjust with slow introductions. Because she’s timid and sensitive, Dahlia would thrive in a home without young children. If you’re looking for a tender, quiet companion who just needs someone to show her what love feels like, Dahlia is ready to start her new chapter.
