Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Cattle Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Buckely is a sweet pup who is with one of our sister rescues in LA. He can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Meet Buckley: part lab puppy, part gentle soul, part “did someone say snack?” Buckley didn’t get the fresh start he deserved at first—his previous family realized they didn’t have time for a puppy, so this sweet boy found his way to rescue. Their loss is very much someone else’s absolute jackpot. Buckley is the kind of puppy who doesn’t come in like a wrecking ball. He’s more of a soft entrance, a quiet tail wag, a “hi… I think I love you already?” kind of guy. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, just with a touch of adorable shyness that makes you want to scoop him up and tell him he’s safe forever. He’s already doing great with crate training and house training (gold star, Buckley), and he’s learning the ropes of being a well-mannered pup. He’s thoughtful, observant, and just the right mix of playful and snuggly. If you’re looking for a puppy who will grow into your loyal sidekick—the kind who watches you with those soft eyes and follows you from room to room—Buckley is your guy. All he needs now is a family who has the time, love, and commitment he truly deserves Buckley is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $550 . Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
